Tomorrow, Saturday 5/14 8pm I’ll be leading a rare Saturday night show at Barbès. (It will be live steamed) I’m gonna play some tunes that trombonist Bennie Green wrote and/or recorded…plus some other stuff. I will be playing mostly trombone (what people usually pay me to play),
This Saturday’s show is a great band featuring:

Jim Whitney- Bass
Joel Mateo – Drums
Lily White – Tenor Saxophone
+ special guests
THEN, Thursday 5/19, I’ll be BACK at Barbes leading a trio and playing mostly ukulele (what people usually pay me to stop playing) in a rare intimate set in a great room to listen to an intimate set.
Thursday’s show will feature:
Jim Whitney – Bass
Willie Martinez – Drums
+ a special guest or two
(Also this will be Live Streamed)
And of course I’m still playing Domaine Bar a Vins on Wednesdays and have a bunch of other things going on this month that I hope are worthy of your cosideration.
